Much of what we stock is locally made, from freshly-baked brownies to hand-made bags and candles, locally-written books & more – supporting the local economy so that we all support one another. Community is so important to me and a big reason behind why I set up The Rail Weigh. The whole family even gets involved so you might see my mum bringing knitted hats and wrist-warmers, even knitted sprouts! Or you might meet one or more of the kids at the till or in the shop
We stock a wide range of plastic-free body care, eco-friendly cleaning products, food refills, pet products, vegan and gluten-free foods, gifts you won’t find on the high street, toys, soaps, bath bombs, candles, and so much more – people are very surprised at just how much we do sell in such a small shop! All of this is available at prices which are often cheaper than the big supermarkets too
